In Tibetan Buddhism a Dorje (also called Vajra) is a representation of a thunderbolt in the form of a short double trident or sceptre, symbolising the male aspect of the spirit and held during invocations and prayers.

The 5 prong version is commonly used in the Gelug school of Buddhism (sometimes known as Yellow Hat).

Size approx 15.5cm long. Made of brass.
